Export to KMZ file
The KML, or sometimes "KMZ" file, was made popular by Google Maps. It is another popular file format for exchanging data between applications.
First select which layers you want to include in your export, then click the Export button. After a few seconds a KMZ file will be downloaded to your computer's "Downloads" folder.
Option: Selected Area
By default the export will include every feature on the selected layers. If you want to only export a portion of the map, use the Rectangle button to draw a box on the map. Any feature that is even partially inside the select box will be included in the exported file.
Option: Include Attachments
When this option is checked, any attachments associated with this layer will also be exported to the KMZ. This can make the exported file very large and take several minutes to complete.
