Export to CSV

Use the CSV export to generate a spreadsheet listing all the content of a certain layer.  You will then be able to open this spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel or some other spreadsheet program.  This won't export any of the point, line, or area locations (ie. geometry) but it will export all the textual data contained in your layer.

Selected Area

By default the exported file will contain all features on the selected area. If you want to limit the export to only include those points in a certain area of the map then click the Rectangle button to draw a box on the screen.

Show Full URL for Attachments

Any attachments associated with a feature will be noted in the attachments column of the exported spreadsheet. Check this box if you want the full URL to the attachment file listed in the spreadsheet. Uncheck this box if you want them to stay in the internal format used by Diamond Maps. If you want to be able to click on an attachment and view it from the spreadsheet then choose the Full URL option. If you want to be able to later import this file back into Diamond Maps then leave this box unchecked.

Include Total

Check this box if you want a totals line added to the end of the spreadsheet.

Include Stats

Check this box if you want some auto calculated columns added to your spreadsheet. This includes things like Latitude, Longitude, Area, and Length. These columns are in addition to any calculated fields you already have in your field layout.
